Before we started dating, Scintilla was giving me things like mix CDs and fansubs. I think one of those discs had "Tainted Doughnuts" on it. But I don't remember it too well. I just know that it's his fault.

I was introduced to AMVs at around the same time I started to really get into anime. That was his fault too.

One of my cousins gave me a CD that had some random videos and half of them were AMVs.

Way to make me feel old. I thought you were older than me, but this clearly is not the case.

A buddy is responsible for the addiction.

Plenty sure it was as a result of his going to the first Anime North, and returning after having seen the things (amvs) and then showing them to me.

He's been to every Anime North con, but I am unsure how many years ago that was now.

But I have found well over 80% of them as a result of being a member here.
Nothing beats the org and it's well organized stash.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

When I bought my first computer. A friend of mine was moving and wanted to get rid of his custom built comp and I wanted a comp, so it worked out for all parties. So I start wading through all of the stuff on his computer trying to figure out what I was keeping and what to get rid of and came across:

That was the first AMV I watch and what originally got me into editing.

For some reason, I can never keep myself from answering these threads. I saw Spectacular Anime in a Suncoast in 2003 one day, and when I asked the guy at the counter about it, he directed me here.
