No it didn't die. it just changed. Instead of being a flashy event, they turned it into a more business-like convention. Technically, they killed it in a sense.

Although Don't Stop Believing is hands down my favorite Journey song, I'm not disappointed that they at least put one in XDDDDDDDDDDDD

...also "Any Way You Want it" is a fairly good choice for Rock Band since it has good vocals, some guitar solos, a reasonable drum part, etc. Would've been my second choice

agreed, that is a good song as well.
