The only video I had a problem of people uploading was my old Naruto Kombat video (it's actual title is Ninja Kombat, but I made a mistake putting the video in here at the Org). I remember so many people had it uploaded, but then YouTube went on a witch hunt for AMVs and most of them got taken down, except for the one in my account. Considering how crappy it is, I dont see what the big deal was about it. I've had a couple other people upload it. I just told them to take it down because it hurts the amount of people that go and see it in my account. I would then add that if they didnt, I would just flag the video as copyright infringement and have YouTube take it down. The people were nice enough to take it down.

Best way to avoid people stealing your videos is to put credits in the video. Although some people edit them out, it still reduces how many people can take credit. Depending on vid, you can put your name at the start of the actual amv instead of using intro. That way if people edit it out, it will just look weird. One of the best things I can recommend is to get your own account on these websites and upload your videos yourself. This way you are the first person to upload your video and you will be the one that gets more traffic. Also the fans you get are the best defense against AMV thieves. Best example I can give you is once someone took Shinnie04's What I've Done video and claimed that it was his. Now Shinnie has 7,000+ subscribers on youtube. Just one bulletin posted and boom the thief got spammed with so many negative comments. I go to check on the video later and it's gone. Although I'm pretty sure that many other people have the video uploaded.

if you don't want your videos stolen then don't make them, or delete them after you are done watching them.

Hmm... they claim to have edited this with Amvience Studios... funny how people convince themselves of these things sometimes.

What I'll find even more amusing is if the video they plonked after our studio logo actually ends up being somebody elses... anyone recognise this video?
