would like to get a series confirmed

i made an amv using the awsome Dead Fantasy 1 and 2 and entered them as new series when entering a new amv, however they need to be confirmed by an admin so i was wondering if someone could do that please, thanks

This will be an interesting ruling indeed... Those aren't anime. They're not even video games, they're original animation and you're not their creator. Original animation has been allowed in the past if the creator was the one that made the AMV.

Precedent time!

aw crap, you're right, forgot about the anime policy, gah this is my best amv yet (imo at least), hope it gets allowed, dead fantasy is really awsome source material, suprised more people havnt used it, gonna be a real shame if it gets nixed

yep, i realize it's not anime but i dont see much difference between it and using CG scenes from movies or scenes/cutscenes from games, i really hope it does get approved, dont want to have to resort to boochsack to host my vid

That's gonna be tricky, that's for sure!

I'd personally recommend this sort of thing to be approved; it's certainly in the same boat as fanart/doujins...

On the other hand, fanart not made by the editor has previously caused a few problems (like deviantart users whose fanart was used in banners here demanding said banners be taken down) - so that could throw in a complication...

but it's original animation... I think it may still get accepted just because of the art style or whatever...

Less because of style and more because it's a pretty faithful fanwork depicting original character designs pretty well faithfully to the source.

I'm mostly making that distinction cause art style as such would never pass as an excuse here, and this clearly needs all the chances it can get since it's still very much a grey area >__>
