I was born in Ridgefield (well, technically Norwalk but my parents lived in Ridgefield). Sandy Hook sounded familiar so I did a quick google maps on it, hehe.

Its been about 4 years since I've been back but they usually have a fireworks show out by the mall/airport. One of the few things I miss.

Couple neighbors must have spent at least a grand on fireworks, if not more. Fun to watch, but I got hit in the face a couple times from stuff that didn't go off till it got a little too close to the ground. Wouldn't have been so bad if it at least wasn't on fire when it hit me. :x

Pretty sweet. Miss the Chicago gang, even if I probably would have partied more on the 1st than the 4th :o

Holy cow, 10K on fireworks? @__@

It was raining here, but I set some off anyway. It was an epic battle of fire+sparks vs. water+rain.

Then today, I went back and bought a ton more at the "buy one get two free" price. :D

My buddy's wedding after party. Bonfire and folk music. Right hand - bottle of champagne. Left hand - hip flask full of some rum that my brother got for me in Guatemala. I think we had sparklers... but it's sort of fuzzy.

I did NOTHING.
