Hey everyone. I recently made my first AMV, titled "Angels". The anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion and the song was Angels by Within Temptation. You can get it here:

Like I said, it's my first AMV, so any suggestions or criticism (preferably the constructive sort) would be appreciated.

Wow fantastic first attempt.
Where there was lip sync you did a pretty good job too, though i did notice that at one point the raindrops behind asuka seemed to be jumping back and forth along with her talking, that's the only major visual fault I could find.
Other then that my only real complaint is the strech between 2:40 - 3:20. It kinda seems like a few filler clips till the song picks back up for the more fast paced scenes. Just something I've been trying to avoid as much as possible in my own recent attempts, so thought I'd point it out.
great job, keep it up!

In any case young babies are easy, say compared to a mobile two year old. AKA a compact engine of apocolyptic destruction.

Thanks for the input; I really appreciate it. The raindrops thing was something I didn't even notice right away, but it's definitely visually distracting once you're aware of it. But, since that lipsynch was just an arrangement of three images, it was relatively easy to go back and fix that in Photoshop.
And you're right about the slow stretch. When watching the video, I find myself skipping past it occasionally, which is bad, since it's my own video. But I'm not really sure what to do about that. It fits the music perfectly, and it goes very well with the scenes before and after it. Also, it's not as if I can just fill that area with action scenes...
Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, and I appreciate that you took the time to point out those issues.
