too bad to show but too good to throw away?

i have a partial amv that has been sitting on my computer for around a year and i almost completely forgot about it. it was my first attempt to make a fanservice/action amv and i eventually scratched the idea (plenty of those as it is) and i deleted all my source materials and the project itself but kept the export what i had made up until that point. watching it after a year of it gathering dust i actually liked it, and if i had all my original materials and the project file still intact i might have actually finished it. as it is the file i have now is horribly encoded and only contains about 2/3 of the song (rest is cut off) so i would never actually post it as one of my amvs but i cant bear to throw it away as I actually enjoy watching it now. Anyone have any similar vids such as projects cut off in mid production that are too bad, or embaressing to show to the public but too fun to just throw away?

No, because if I had something that I liked sitting on my computer I'd distribute it for the odd chance that somebody else may enjoy it as well.

I have two amvs on my hard drive that I completed and never uploaded anywhere because i don't think they are any good yet i still keep them both fearing if I delete them I will regret it for some odd reason.

I have this one project I've been tinkering with about since I first started AMV's. I just don't have the right footage to finish it. I blame my local video rental store and their lack of Haruhi, Lucky Star and Tsubasa R.C. That and my apparent lack of motivation to go shopping online. :O

I had my HDD crash once, and lost all my files, except for a half-done export that I put on a flashdrive.

I ended up just reusing it, and turned it into this video. I may have overcompensated with the filtering to get the quality back, but I'm more-or-less happy with how it turned out.

I have a complete video on my hd, it will never be seen... no one wants to see it ever.. it's terrible but due to all the stress it caused me I probably won't throw it away.

I have a partially completed beta i couldn't get into finishing, and I probably never will, but i keep it around too..

I also have a lot of "test clips" of when I was trying out something or getting a new version of Vegas.

I've been tempted to do one of those "incomplete" videos where you just mesh them all together but I'm too lazy O.o

I have a rather large collection of videos I've never published due to the fact that a lot of them are unfinished betas or complete videos with a low quality. Some betas I finish (or remake) to their final form. Others are still in limbo. I also watch them every so often, to see if I want to finish them. Sometimes, I also get inspiration for other video projects.

It's also not that I'm embarrassed about my earlier work, just that it's early work (mostly 2004 - 2005) that I might think of remastering some day. Just haven't gotten around to it.
