Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

wow, I wonder if I liked it because of my love for RahXephon or because it was nicely done. I guess it's a mix of the 2
I loved the way you synched on the "fast beats" sometimes, it's just a simple and little touch but contributes a lot to the overall atmosphere of the video.
I also liked the music a lot, and even if I didn't, the lyrics matched with the bits of the anime you used, most of the time, so I couldn't have complained about anything.

Nah really, the only thing that bothered me a bit is that it got a bit repitative at some points, nothing unbearable though.

I gave it 4 stars <3

I don't think I've seen any of your other videos so I can't tell you that.

It was alright.

I took the time also to deinterlace the footage.

There were some parts that I really enjoyed but scene selection was ok.
Could be better.
Though I dig the footage. RahXephon <3
Anyways, I hope you have better luck in your future videos

Interlacing rears its head again. I don't like to start with that, but that's an issue that is just so obvious[ly irritating] to the eye...

Interesting music choice, very light-footed and leaning on lyrics... which I thought was handled well in the case of editing, though some scene choices were edging towards cheesy. Editing-wise, one thing that struck me is that your little circle-mask things didn't always work, sometimes the video frame was smaller than the circle so the mask looked a bit unnaturally clipped. A few black spaces between verses also seem a bit too long. Caught a couple of orphan frames as well.

Otherwise good sense of character and athmosphere. Not irrelevant at all. Some cool moments and a good structure.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Using VLC player like i do for everything i can barely notice any interlacing, i went back made sure i exported it as progressive etc and it came out looking the same, personally i think its my alternative method of compressing thats doing it, since Zarx is giving me problems.

Yea, unfortunetly those scenes were in specific parts of the series/movie that had black bars above and below so i tried my best to work around them with out losing what was in the actual scene itself.

thanks for the input.

It was inconsistant at times (change in sync during the song) and I found it kind of hard to watch at times.

It was still really good though! I highly approve.
