What's your favorite font?

When coming up with effect work, do you think in layers, nested compositions, or some combination of the two?

When using motion (either motion graphics or scenes with lots of movement), do you think of it as shooting something with a camera or do you have some other sort of mind-set? (I ask because I have no videography training at all)

What do you do when you have the urge to edit something, but really don't have any source prepped?

Alrighty, I'm thinking of making a vid with some live action footage in it. Mostly this will be slow panning shots, or still shots, and will be to accentuate the atmosphere of the video. More than likely I will filter/alter the video to bring it a little bit closer to my anime source material. For everybody:

Do you think live action in an AMV is a good or bad idea?

Anything you'd like to see or not see done?

Is this maybe a new trend?
