Finally just finished this series. It was pretty good at points, but I don't think it's really as great as a lot of people seem to think. It wasn't really that funny to me (Lucky Star was much funnier) and the story was pretty damn confusing. It was very... unique at least. I still enjoyed the series, but it still fell far from the expectations I had built up for it. All this said, I liked the ending and am still looking forward to the next season. Oh, and I need to rewatch Lucky Star since apparently you "get" more of it if you've watched Haruhi first? I can already see a lot of the characters being very similar to Haruhi characters (and yes, I know, konota's VA is the same as Haruhi, maybe others are the same?).

That's what I want to know. The only thing I can see confusing is the scene where Itsuki talks about God's existence(or possible lack thereof).

It's amazing. I talk about that stuff with my friends all thetime (religion, philosphy etc.) so I understood every word of it.

I just finished as well. It wasn't as bad as I expected, in fact it was pretty good. I probably would've enjoyed it more if there wasn't so much goddamn hype.

I understood it as well, I was just saying that that was probably the only scene that would have confused someone.

I spent 200$ on the limited edition volumes and now they're releasing the boxset. If this was a vanilla boxset, I'd be fine, but it feel like a kick in the nads.

I'm sticking to boxsets from now on.

Ya know, since you decided on getting the LEs, that means you wanted all those extra goodies you couldn't get in the standard release or in the upcoming boxset.

I realized that after I posted. I guess the money was worth it then:

4 single CDs
4 DVDs
4 extra DVDs
4 pieces of swag
4 pencil boards.
