Hn...suicide might work, but not exactly sure if it will fit the criteria...hopefully one of those suicide scenes might have someone with their wrists slit while laying in a bathtub of water and/or blood... But I'll check it out, thanks.

Not so much slitting of the writs, but in episode 4, one of the characters claws out his own throat in a phone booth. I believe there was a shot afterward of him laying in the phone booth with blood splattered all over the windows. Maybe it would work? Dunno what exactly you have in mind, though.

The other that I can think of involves a small child purposely ramming the side of her head into a large kitchen knife repeatedly. o_O That's episode 20, if I'm not mistaken. It's at least really close to 20.

Nice, that phone booth scene would work perfectly, thank you. *adds Higurashi to the list* It's a good thing that most of these suggestions are right at my nearest Best Buy

Oh, and spoilers don't really bother me...as long as they don't give away any pivotal plots or anything or just blatantly ruin the ending or purpose of the whole show

oh, the Evengelion scene I'm thinking of is in the movie not the series... (the title of the movie is The End of Evangelion)

Been meaning to check out Boogiepop, never heard of Tokko, will look into it. But Gantz, I've been reading the manga and that's definitely along the lines of inhumane, i believe the anime ends a lot earlier but I believe certain deaths i have seen would suffice.

Code Geass

There is a scene in the first episode where a whole group a soldiers shoot themselves in the head for no reason and all their blood splatters on the main character. Might work.

No...sorry, that wouldn't work for what I have in mind. I haven't seen the scene but I can't have it looking like the characters' take their own life. Thanks anyways ^^
