No. You get a confirmation when your video has been confirmed entry into the contest. Since it's got an "invalid entry" flag and goes straight to overflow, consider this your confirmation. Yes I have it, yes I tested it. Thanks for playingNightlHlawk wrote:I entered as Overflow Only, was I supposed to get a confirmation? =O

Hey VicBond:
Uhh, this is kinda embarrassing, but some time after I submitted my video, I realized there was a DivX watermark in the corner, and for the life of me, I can't get rid of it. Will this be a problem?
PS: If it is, I have no qualms with you letterboxing it out. Or hell, if I can get my damn computer working right, I'll do it.
*Kicks self*.

Find the DivX group in your Start Menu, open up the configuration, find the option that says "disable logo" or whatever, and check it. Re-open WMM (I assume, because it's the only video editor I know to have this problem) and the watermarks should be gone.Davis 51 wrote:Uhh, this is kinda embarrassing, but some time after I submitted my video, I realized there was a DivX watermark in the corner, and for the life of me, I can't get rid of it. ... Unless they were actually hardcoded into your files.
Oh, good. This means no more running out of the AMVers luncheon early to catch a scheduled overflow screening. ^_^VicBond007 wrote:The way I've always done overflow is that if the creator is in the room, just walk up to the person running the playlist, let them know your studio name, and your video will be next on the list. Nothing is set in stone. Everything will be played off of a PC, live.

It's the only one I had access to before this contest. But no, they were not hardcoded. *Sigh.* I just have to re-render it.Scintilla wrote:Find the DivX group in your Start Menu, open up the configuration, find the option that says "disable logo" or whatever, and check it. Would it likely be based on when you submitted it? If you submitted it earlier, you'd be in the earlier showings, or later you'd be in the later showings, etc.
As for the overflow screenings, it's cool that they work it out that way.

lmao. I'm guessing like about 300 - 400 or somewhere inbetween.
I have a question... anyone planning on going? I can't go due to only my limit of one con a year. (I'm going to AX already)
