I don't find it bad in any way that the story in the mangas has evolved around Sasuke and Itachi. Those two characters were more interesting to begin with anyway...

My guess is a showdown at the village where Naruto dies by the hand of Sasuke and a dramatic point where Sasuke realizes that revenge is not the answer to everything :D

Naruto has been getting stronger due to Itachi's influence. I'll hope for a big and even fight in front of Konoha's gates or anywhere else. I guess this showdown is what this manga is aiming for at the moment. Akatsuki is kind a left aside since they are not mentioned no more?!?!
This is getting more interesting chapter by chapter X)

Akatsuki will most likely be supporting Sasuke anyway coz Tobi leads the group. What I'm guessing will happen is, once Sasuke takes over Konoha, Madara will backstab him

Naruto will fight Sasuke, defeat him, along with Akatsuki.

This will happen directly in front of all those who criticized Naruto, or thought that he was nothing more than a demon. Their trusts will be turned over to him and he will become the next hokage.

Tobi shows his face(which, stays out of the fucking frame) to Kisame, who he calls his 'most trusted'(paraphrased). Kisame replies by commenting how he is less worried about where the organization is going now that he knows the mizukage is running things....

Naruto is told by the toad sage that Jiraiya is dead. Sasuke is offered one of the tailed beasts in return for his group joining akatsuki. Tobi is gloating once again about how plans are going his way- towards the destrutction of Konoha.

Anyone else wanna strangle Kishi?
