need animes to a song

Already have the concept for the video just need some animes to fit them. I am looking for animes where a character is experiencing deep problems … say parents die in a fire or something. I only keep coming up with animes where they might be having boyfriend/girlfriend troubles. I just need something that I can manipulate the character reflecting on his/her problems but I want lots of different animes with different problems so it doesn’t get reparative.

Rather use something where that was the plot, not like going out on a limb to make it look like it fits. Example Myself Yourself has a house burning scene or "h20 foot prints in the sand" i could use the girl getting picked on and the guy whos mom killed herself.

peacemaker
father and mother slaughtered, by 'evil dude' house burning down around main character... and he has flash backs about the red burning and bloody death throughout the series.

Generator Gawl
boys from future travel back to the past and meet their mother who blows herself up(makes a good sized crater) and then boys from future go psycho an start killing more monsters (generators)

Evangelion
Misato's dad dies when one of the poles gets 'nuked' by an angel, she's scared mentally and physically

Gundam Seed: Destiny
Shin's parents and little sister are killed by a friendly gundam "friendly fire isn't" as collateral damage and he spends most of the series bouncing between emo little shit and psychotic rage, with allot of flash backs of the faimly in peices.

I haven't actually watched it BUT I heard that the colony ship got wiped out by vash or something...

Thanks, ill check some of those out. I rather not use tri-gun and Evangelion because i kinda want it to be new shows.
