AMV Horror Stories?

If I had a dollar for every time I wanted to take a sledgehammer to my AMVs, I’d be packing enough extra change to go on a really nice vacation. Visions of throwing my computer out the window, burning scenes at the stake and punching characters in the face are not unusual occurrences.

This is an open call to relive those AMVs/AMV moments which make you want to reach for the sledgehammer. Your OWN AMVs, please. What’s the worst problem you’ve ever run into? What’s the thing that still makes you cringe when you see it? Which mistake was made that you can’t believe you made? Has an AMV ever driven you to drink (or smoke or go for a really long walk or put crazy stuff in the blender just so you can pulverize something)?

Well... I haven't finsihed any but I've been getting alot of grief from the one I'm working on right now. I actually broke my keyboard, I was so pissed off. First I lost a DVD then my computer was acting up and repeatedly freezing. Then I realized I wouldn't get it done in time to hand it in as a Graphic Design school project, I got really mad and felt like throughing my computer out the window.

Well there was this one time that I was working on a Paprika AMV set to a song from the Inland Empire Soundtrack called "Polish Poem"

I was putting the whole thing together in After Effects, looked great effects-wise. But for the export no matter what I did I couldn't get rid of the shitty quality of the RAW of the movie, and that WAS the best quality version out there at that time. So in all my rage of not getting it to look good I kinda deleted the entire project folder with everything. I might've been able to actually just release the damn thing anyway had I thought just one more day about it. Normally I even keep single parts of terrible projects, but this one was actually good + basically finished and I deleted everything.

So whenever I think about that video my face does this:
