Episode 5 was pretty fun and, Dr. Franken Stein is seriously one total BADASS!

He single-handedly fried Black Star which Maka and Soul presumed he got killed. And then those two totally got their asses kicked. Not even their Witch Hunter special attack had any effect on him. With Maka exhausted, Dr. Stein moved in for the kill, and then Soul reverted back to his human form and covered Maka.
Dr. Stein found it very nice and gave them a passing grade for the extra lessons. The whole thing was sham, and everyone was really pissed about it!
And the episode ends with Dr. Stein being their new teacher! Now if he can only perfect that rolling chair thing he keeps on falling off of.
Next episode, Death the Kidd joins the class! Hilarity shall ensue.
It can't beat Gurren Laggan. I'll wait till Ep 15 to decide of I continue watching.

Now that I've finally have the time to see episode 6 from a far better sub group than AEN, this episode consisted of Death the Kid joining the new school, and Soul and Black Star acting like total asses and getting their asses handled by him. Not much in plot development since it reaffirms that concepts already presented in the series.
