I Used to Make AMVs 7-8 Years Ago
Hi, I'm an old AMV maker.
I found one of my videos on youtube and came by this site to see if my account was still in existence. Lo and behold, after seven years, its still here (critical_x).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ88vowfZYI
I don't even know if this is as popular of a medium as it used to be back then, or if anyone I knew is still doing it after all these years, but I figured it'd be worth a shot to swing by the forums and see.
I used to be a regular at the Otaku Vengeance forums and at More Than Toast around 2000, 2001. I also went to AWA7 for the AMV competition, (for the Trigun video, actually) but something was wrong with the format and it never was entered.
My closest AMV buds were Lord Rae, Viggigolo, and Eric, from Otaku Vengeance.
I was curious if anyone had any more of my videos floating around and/or knew of a place/way I could get copies of the files. Its been so long, I can hardly remember any of the ones I made.
Anyway, I'll check back soon.

Who updates the Waldo site?
My goodness I found one of my OLD videos in the unsorted section, and there is another vid that should be moved to the 'BakaDeshi' folder.
Now to search and see if I can find my long ago missing Utena video...

What's the Golden Donut?Waldo wrote:That takes me back. It's amazing to see how far things have come with regard to video hosting thanks to the Golden Donut and sites like boochsack
That sticky thread FAQ about the video hosting is like 3-4 years old and we're talking in years for the last post or update.
