Both were well done, but on the pathfinder i thought it had a tad to much overlays, despite that i enjoyed pathfinder more then crysis. It was more catchy for me, and watched it 3 times in a row. So yeah my vote goes for pathfinder

Holy Hell Round 2!

Initial reaction is just like the first round: Warheart's seems more stylish, and Prodigi's seems more straight forward. Which makes it Damn Hard to decide. Both videos are still better than most non-IC vids :o :P

will edit with vote.

EDIT:

Pathfinder:
I loved the beginning, but not the end, the lyric sync worked well, the ever-so-minor lip sync really caught my eye. Like I said above, it seems to rely on style much like Pariah. Using some effects, and focusing on scenery, which usually worked; one instance when I felt it didn't was at 0:54. I think you relied on that scene too much, when it could have been tweaked a little more than it was. The sync was good as usual, but I didn't catch all of the internal sync on the first time watch; so my first impression wasn't quite as good as DJs. It seemed to be more emo :P almost as if it was a drama, and not an action. The music may have something to do with that.

Crysis:
This one grabbed my attention right away. I loved both the beginning and the end, there were impressive explosions [as cheesy as that sounds], very fast, very adrenaline-filled. Minor effects, like the shake worked well. The straight-forwardness was quite enjoyable. This amv basically gets down to business. 8-)

I found it interesting that Warheart used overlays, when Prod used mostly a single track. I don't know if either of you thought of that before editing... but very intriguing; I think simplicity works better for this type of amv. That being said, you probably know where I'm going with this: Considering this is the Action round, I think Crysis works better. thank god I found something to base my decision on

Phenomenal job both of you ;)

I catched these videos earlier today, watched Warheart's video and then stopped DJ's Videos halfway through because I had to get my bus. (Though I also did catch myself looking away from WH's vid a few times to get my stuff together).

So I just watched em again.

Pathfinder:

+ Catched my Attention right from the Beginning with the nifty Overlay-synch.
+ I enjoyed the Flow in this Video a lot.
+ like how it switched up the editing and scenes to fit the music
+ it looked like it did make sense, the scenes didn't seem randomly chosen.

- I think I've seen these 'Border-overlays' (or smiliar ones) in several of your (or other peoples) Videos now, It just kinda gets old after a while. Would have probably better with something else or without anything there at all.

Crysis:

- It seemed very choppy and didn't flow well
- It was to repetive for me, It barely changed at all
- It didn't seem like much care was put into the scene choice

Pretty clear Win for Warheart's Pathfinder here.

gets for eva glory O_o

Pathfinder:
I was amazed all the way through. I love how it synced in the beginning with the over-lays and I actually liked all the overlays. The video was just win in my opinion.

Crysis:

I thought that this video was very good too. I loved your internal sync with clips and from 1:36 to the end was completely bad ass imo.
Though there were parts that felt choppy when I watched it.

Both were really good videos O:

i believe Warheart won this.

Hmm was kinda tough but in the end I'm going with Warheart's as DJ's synch and editting pattern was too predictable whereas Warheart's had an artistic touch and connected more with the lyrics and style/atmosphere of the song. Also good use of layers. Cal's - the black external synch parts where the eva is still etc - loses dynamic and pace of the editting, probably should have gone with more motion to keep the momentum going. As a plus, good use of explosions and destruction =O

Hmm... [edit]If I were to vote, [/edit]I'd vote for Crysis, my laptop couldn't handle it :/

Crysis had some awesome syncs that made it feel (more) intense overall. Pathfinder had some great action sequences, but the stuff in between kinda felt like one big transition between them with the overlaying on the top and bottom, which was kind of a distraction of what was going on.

Both were awesome vids though.

Crysis was very well done I thought, and it was nice to see new evangelion material used, but I think I'm gonna have to hand my vote to warheart.

Good job both of you, I'm really looking forward to the final round of action/drama/whatever you do.
