First song that came to mind is Don't Speak by No Doubt. Powerful song. But, the lyrical content may or may not be what you are looking for. It depends.

Hey, thanks for the ideas ^^ I guess I should describe what I'm trying to do in this video. The video will focus on a girl, who's been beaten, raped, and almost killed, and I need a song that focuses on stuff like that.
