OK, here's a preview of my project. This is NOT the final product (though it might be close). Its a simple XVid/mp3 encode with the classic DivX5 pulldown flags. Its in 640X320 with the letterboxes to preserve the quality. I need your opinion moonie as to video quality, fading, timing, etc. If you have any suggestions please post them and I'll have the final huffy export to you in a few days (without the fading intro or ending and in 760X480 with the edges cropped [noooo my pixels!!]) . The audio naturally fades in and out, I didn't change anything.). Try to be a specific as possible on which sequences might be out of sync.

Anyone else in the MEP is free to preview it as well. I'd appreciate suggestions. Its been a few years since I've edited, so I'm probably a little rusty.
Almost done!

Except for me it's MGS4 instead of RE5. This MEP looks awesome. I wish I'd seen this sooner. I'd love to join, but... I'll get back to you on that.

You hit those explosions and crashes right on.
Looks great IMO
The only thing I think you probably should fix is tighning up the sync
of the fades at the begining.
It seemed just a bit off to me.
I might have to check that one out too.8bit_samurai wrote:x2moonie211 wrote: I'll get one eventually or i might get a PS3 hmm...

I have a technical question (and one that has been bugging me ever since I started AMV-ing):
At :20 in my AMV segment, the video pans (meaning it was done by the original artists, not by me in photoshop or premiere), and it looks jumpy and/or choppy. To be more descriptive, the motion inherent in the source footage comes out choppy in the final export of my amv. This is especially inherent in vertical motion (such as the the pan in the camera angle from above the ground down to the forest floor where Nausicaa is standing at :20), but I've also noted it in scenes where the backround moves but the angle of the shot doesn't (ex: :57 and 1:08). Why is that? What causes it? The only idea I have is maybe the framerate conversion I'm doing going from a 24.97fps source to a 29.97fps final product?
If you can't see it in the movie or have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a more obvious example in one of my first amv's. Look at 1:44 in this amv:anime castaway
Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe its an error somewhere in my XVid encodes (although this problem is just as prevalent, if not moreso in my old MPEG-2 encodes). Maybe stuff like this is something you deal with n amv's. Sorry for the bother. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I will properly make a beta for both and see which I like best if there is anything wrong with the song choice tell me and i will see what I can do
My source will be the Hellsing OVAs
I will try to have a beta for you some time this month

Good luck on your video.
No, that clip should be fineRadman wrote:I just remembered, the opening scene of my segment
is a natural fade in the footage (its from the opening scence of the movie,
so it fades in). Do you want me to change my first clip so as to remove that fade?
It would work okay in the project.
Yeah, there is still room for one more.NENKETSU{9} wrote:Id like to be added if theres still spots.
Did you already decide on what sources you are gonna use?
