hmm ok what I really want is 2 of the same image,one larger and one smaller.And the smaller one goes over the larger one in colour so its like the black and white background image is like a background for the smaller image :\ confusing lol but I think I kind of understand panning/cropping now so I'll play around with it tomorrow.Thanks

yes!but I want the top and bottom part of the clip to match with the one in the background(no spaces between) because when I make the image smaller it doesnt fit right

have you tried messing with the cookie cutter function?

in fact see in your picture?where the top and bottom section is black and white and marks the end of the coloured section?how would I get it to be white instead?something to do with masking?

and how'd I do white borders on an image like this?

oh its ok,what I wanted was something similar to the above picture.Except where the white triangle seperates the main image I wanted a black and white of the image with thicker borders.And instead of the black and white image at the corners I wanted it on both sides of the image instead
