A better way to deinterlace?

1. Rip and convert DVDs choose - one
2. import and set up
3. Edit to your taste :) (the fun part)
4. export
5. compress your Video and your Audio OR Compress both in Zarxgui
6. upload to the org

Thanks for the links, Jaddzia. They'll be a big help to me. But still a couple questions.

First, I don't have Zarx264gui in my AMVapp bundle. Is there a way to get it?

Second, will it help with the completed AMV files I already have? If not, I can always save it for my next vid, no worries.

gah and well if you are missing your some of project files you might want to keep those for your next video

i donno if there is a way to deinterlace a wmv, the damage might be perminant.

im starting to wish i had the ability to edit my posts cause i keep thinking of more...

the "best way" to deinterlace a source is to pre-filter it with avisynth...
ADV's SM DVDs are horrid, and has some of the hardest to get rid of interlacing I've seen my last sm video imho ended up looking over filtered because i just couldn't get rid of all the issues with it... however I was working off of the pioneer/geneon dvds of the movies.
