Do you take yourself seriously on the internet?

I wouldn't say I take myself seriously as such, nor do I take others too seriously either.

However, I do believe that people shouldn't act like asses towards others just because they're able to hide behind a screen.

I'm pretty different online than I am in real life. In real life, I'm quiet and keep to myself a lot. I have trouble making conversation a lot of the time. Still, I'm a pretty easy going guy and I get along with pretty much anyone, even if they are an asshole to me. It sometimes surprises me if people around me start talking about how they hate such-and-such person, I'll always be sitting there thinking something like "what, i thought they are a pretty nice person... eh, you hate them for such a trivial reason?"

Online, I pretty much say what I wanna say, and a lot of it is things that I would never say in real life. If I act like an asshole sometimes, its usually just in a joking manner, or I at least hope people see it that way.

That brings to mind a question, is it better to be consistent and be an asshole in real life as well as online or is it preferable to know that even if a guy is a dick online at least he's nice in real life?

Yeah, I'm pretty similar IRL to my online self. (Yes, annoying, hyper bishie fangirl with a hint of sarcasm is more or less how I am. *^_^*) Only IRL, I talk a lot less. And when I do, its usually a bit more random since in normal conversation, I don't have more time to think out what I'm going to say.

So, no I don't take myself too seriously on teh intarnetz, since I don't take myself too seriously IRL. *^_^*

actually no, i haven't eaten for over 24 hours (part of the time i was asleep so yea) but I still don't feel hungry O.o
