Mind you, I used to think the same way. Then I realized my brain will fucking explode if all I do is keep staring at the stars, learning sciences and listening to wacked-out music. Not to mention the social effects of that. Consumed at about 2-month intervals, large servings of alcohol are an excellent way to get the stupid shit that too much thinking leads to out of my head.

Oto expressed any thoughts I had, and with much less abrasion than I would have used.

Also, I guess I should add that alcohol is an anti-anxiety drug. Everyone loves the feeling of not having to worry about anything.

I'd even call it a social lubricant in my case. All the times I got drunk where a) while I was out with people; b) at home, taking out my mix of anger and stupid on the itnernet. As people on Skype/IRC and those who were here that one night on the forums would know

Mind you, I did drink sort of heavily a few times by then, but never with the intention to actually get drunk. Things changed by summer 2007
