Extra member profile customizations

once again that can come up with the problem of usability...

say i want my custom background to be black or a star field (like i have on my gaia account) but the text is hardwired to be black, I cannot read black text on a black background (or a mostly black background)

Hmm.... Well then we'd have to be able to change the text colour. Or like veoh does they could make all the text in boxes so that it's all in white boxes and off the background. The problem with text colour is that some poeple might put yellow on white or do other hard to read stuff. But Veoh's default boxed text prevents that. Some idiots add backgrounds to those boxes so it's becomes a problem. Just make that impossible.

I've actually seen some people do some really neat things with their profiles here as it is, i don't think we should change much... however i like the idea of having maybe a group of color schemes to choose from, ones that still allow for usability.

I'm all for being able to change the template ... but yeah, lets avoid custom text, no good will come of that.

Hm ... i was just thinking, wouldn't it be cool if you could choose what you had on your page? Like the choice to have your opinion stats. on the page or not.

I like the idea, but it should only be for people with donator status. This not only makes having donator status more awesome, but encourages donations even more.

For the people that don't like the idea... It's not like you have to use it right?

I think donators should have more benefits regardless... We are the reason that this site is still alive.

yeah! Donators ftw! All those other leechers can take their vids and ...watch them?

*starts to wonder if maybe the org isn't actually turning over a huge profit unknown to us ...* I demand numbers!
