I agree, I like to be able to read content without having to highlight it.

I do not mean for it to be anything like those sites.
what im talking about is just some simple color options or
something like the skin feature that Niotex mentioned
Theres no need to have flashing backgrounds, music playing ect.

Here's an example of why even 'simple color options' are a bad idea

Just woke up

I can kinda see where Moonie is coming from...

The site skin option didn't change colors/layout for others to view, but the particular member who changed them.

I don't see how that could be a bad thing? Change them up for your own viewing pleasure, but leave them be for those who don't want it?

That way, if you want to kill your eyes and highlight text to read it, do so, but you'll be leaving the retina of others alone.

*me kinda misses her blue org from when the site skin features were still kinda working before they disappeared forever >>

now if we had a choose your scheme, with SET colors I wouldn't mind that.

At least allow for ustomizable backgrounds.
