Removing dotcrawl

Post by The Wired Knight » Fri Apr 25, 2008 10:13 pm

Ok got dot crawl in my video but I just exported it so I'm looking for essentially two fixes to it.

1. What is the avisynth code to remove dotcrawl? (need it for future videos since I'm using this source for another project as well)

2. Is there a vdub filter that removes dotcrawl too? Or no, this would be the faster fix for me.

Personally, I really like Tcomb for dot crawl/rainbow removal (see my post here)

I had 3 shots, I'll try to find the other 2 (as they illustrate tcomb's abilities better)

dot crawl is most noticable on the [female] uniform bows and hair
rainbowing is most noticable on the [male] uniform sleeve stripes...but I didn't get any of those clips, so look at Kyoko's hairline, mouth, collar and shoulder
I have not run across more epic dot crawl to date

this thread also goes over a few alternatives
