As I'm sure at least some of you are aware, the above link is the current .Org Site FAQ. It isn't in the most obvious of places, it's quite limited, and it is certainly out of date. I wrote that version and the Powers That Be have decided it's time for a new one

This is where you come in! The first and foremost thing I need in order to write a good and helpful FAQ is a list of questions that need to be answered, and potential answers, too. The best way of getting that list is for everyone to brainstorm right here.
First though, a FAFAQQ (Frequently Asked FAQ Questions) list:
- Read the current FAQ first; it's the basis of what we're trying to achieve here
Questions should be short and to the point- no one likes to have to read miles of text
Question should be relevant to the site and easy to understand
Questions should have a good answer- nothing too vague, unhelpful or subjective. If you know the answer, post it. If you don't, just post the question
Low tech- There are many, many more users who are non-creators than creators and this is not the place for technical answers
If you can answer a question by linking to a site area, other site information, or post, then that's all that needs to be done. No need to retread ground.
