It really depends where you want to go with the song. If you want to go down the bright and cheerful path, then pick artist like Foo Fighters, Daughtry ect. If you want to go down the path of mental anguish and suffering, make metal your new best friend. Tons of that there. It's all up to your preferences.

(P.S. Unless Linkin Park drops another album real quick... I'd stay away from using it in an AMV.)

It did and I'm already burnt out on it. Everybody's got it in an AMV, and most of them aren't all that special.
