- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

I also think i'm too used to the UTube community. what is UTube worthy is like minimum req for this site i've realized.

Oh you're here for announcements, this is abuse. Announcements is just down the hall.MickeyTK421 wrote: I also think i'm too used to the UTube community. what is UTube worthy is like minimum req for this site i've realized.

Seriously, that first comment was pretty harsh. No matter how bad your thought the video sucked, it is possible to be honest without flaming someone to a crisp.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. The lipsync probably should have been scrapped completely, and there could have been more beat sync. I thought the effects fitted in well. Disturbed + Hellsing is a great combination, although it's been done before, a lot. The whole thing needs to be cropped and resized to 640x352 or something, no point having that huge border.
I agree with Arashinome that a) you have potential, b) you should watch a bunch more videos to see what makes the difference between an OK video and a great video.

...i think the comment Arashinome posted was rather true...if you expect only comments like "cool amv" and others like it, you would just make the same erors again.Seriously, that first comment was pretty harsh. I think that what i said earlier describes what's going on UTube...if you post videos only on UTube you wont get constructive opinions and you would continue editing the way you did.I also think i'm too used to the UTube community. what is UTube worthy is like minimum req for this site i've realized.
Now my opinion about your amv:
The effects used were random and made the video look "dirty"... I rather would use only a few basic effects than this.
The quality was really bad and i think this is the part you should work at the most.
And work more on the sync dont just use a random effect to sync with the beat.

MickeyTK421 you should improve your video quality, its obvious that you used Sony Vegas to edit this video, Vegas has many better compressions... Also try to reduce effects, many effects doesn't make any video better... and work little with your sync, to impress someone with effects its easy to impress someone without any effects its really hard.
Org is a place filled with amv editors so its natural to get strict comments but you shouldn't feel bad about it... Its better having a thread filled with "bad comments" from ppl who are really trying to help rather than having a thread filled with "good job" and "well done" from ppl who don't know how to edit and they are impressed with anything they see or even worse having an empty thread... They post their opinions because they think you can improve ( i also believe it) and nobody mentioned that you didn't try^^^
To conclude. you should seriously consider the quality matter... spending hours of your life and ending up having your work with really bad quality its sad...

For the most part what the other editors have said is true. The concept of Disturbed + Hellsing with a good portion of the clips you chose was good, but the video overall did appear 'dirty' because of way to many effects and way to much going on to see what you were trying to present. There were good sync points, and others not so much. One opinion I can give is that anime like Hellsing Ultimate has a beauty of it's own and when you use too many effects you hide that beauty, so sometimes it's OK to let the anime be the effect in and of itself. There was very little orignial footage that I could see what the anime looked like before you program got ahold of it.
Now, to the video quality aspect. Try to format it in something other than WMV. AVI is preferable above WMV. You can download software to covert your video for free if that's all your program can put out. Aspect ratio really should be 720x480 so you don't get that nasty black border with an output at 29.97 fps (frames per second) your amv put it out at 1000 fps... which I find insane...
Sound was good, can't really screw that one up ^.^ lol, well, you can, but you didn't. Anyway. You do have alot of potential, and at least your not afraid of using the effects like I am,
lol.
Good luck on future endevors!!
