A-KON 19 VSE HOMEPAGE ... Now Online and ready to accept AMV Entries!!

My apologies for the extreme delay folks. Don't let the layout fool you, we lost the code for the new redesign and are forced to use last year's template again. All the information and functions for electronic submission are working.

Whether you are a new participant or a returning editor, please read each EXHIBITION page for details of each contest including the F.A.Q page which outlines specific information about submitting your videos.

Contests you can enter are:
Fans' Exhibition
Experts' Exhibition
Fanworks Contest
Hentai Exhibition

**The submission deadline for all events: Sunday, May 11, 2008.**

If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to post them here and I will address them as best I can or email Chris and the staff using the Contact link on the homepage.

I hope to see lots of great videos from everyone, so start sending them in, and Spread-The-Word .... A-KON 19 Video Events is finally open for entries!

I just got an email from Chris about extending the entry deadline:

As for an extension, I agree and will definitely extend the received period for the contests another week or so. As long as they get the submission form filled out by the 1st of May, I will allow the videos to come in for another week or two while we prep for judging.

Please let everyone know that I will confirm videos as quickly as possible. It may be a bit slower than usual, but if they are signed up, I'll give them my word that I won't DQ anybody over the submission deadlines. I have to have a drop dead of 5/14 though. Any later and I won't have time to prep the contest.

So folks, May 1st is the deadline to get your submission forms in if you intend to enter a video and we'll extend you a least another week or two to get the actual video into our hands so we can get them ready for judging.

Whats the status of the FTP server at the moment? I am having diffcult accessing it through IE... Though this could all well be down to the lovely Chinese democracy I'm currently residing in

It may just be a little wonky today due to traffic. Try using your ftp software like FileZilla or CoreFTP, or whatever. If you still have trouble over the next few days, send an email through the Contact link and inquire.
