A little question: by high quality xvid do you mean "normal" first passes or no B/P frames? Also, might lagarith files be accepted as well?

For your xvids, its probably a good idea to use constant quality (or constant quantizer, whatever its called), set to 1 or 2. TURN OFF B-FRAMES. God, I had so much trouble with people leaving the damn b-frames turned on for hell 4.
I think ssgwnbtd probably wants to avoid lossless files though since they are so big, and like what happened with amv hell 4, I ended up with like 6 dvds filled with entries, and thats after i recompressed a number of them.

And you guys wanna leave your audio uncompressed too. Thats another thing that people just ignored on hell 4.... and compressed audio leads to so many problems.
