What AMV's are meant to be.

Post by qwertycoder » Mon Mar 31, 2008 11:06 pm

Let me thank you wholeheartedly. a video of this calibar is the reason i watched amv's to begin with. the first great AMV i saw was at AWA and the vid was Jihaku. and your video touched the core of my existance just like jihaku. since seeing jihaku ive downloaded 900 amvs and im about to debut my first AMV by Aprils end.
I absoultly loved 2:18 when Ah my goddess led to naruto blended so perfectly a great achievement. The concept and song were great. 11/10 definatly enter in AWA this year.

Thank you very much. :) I must see this Jihaku at some point. It seems to come highly recommended.

I really enjoyed it, fun to watch and a cool song. Only the aspect ratio mismatch stood out for Shana and to a lesser extent AMG. Kinda have to wonder if this vid would have been better in 16:9 and with the 4:3 footage cropped but I can't say for sure without seeing it. Anyway simple and effective, one of the better multi-anime AMVs I've seen - 4/5.

the way you hit beats was annoying... and you hit beats and didnt hit them when they came up 4 seconds later.

through most of the video it looked like scenes were changing randomly and not really on beat... some where but it just looked so random =/
I think this pretty much summes it up for me. I just can´t get into it too. Most of the time the editing seams so hectic and just without a real plan behind it.

The circles to the piano keys: Why not, but they were so god awful fast.
Random? Where do you get that? Unless you completely missed the fact that 90% of the hits were on the voice and not the music.
Well than: You made it the way that a lot of people just don´t got it. Maybe the song just isn´t made for such a thing.
*watches again*
Aha. Now some stuff makes sense. This sync was really not obvious for viewers like me.
Radical Yue (4:57:52 PM): You watch videos to WATCH them. Not to play "Where's Waldo Synced To?"
Wow. This comment really says it!
I kept them as long as each piano note played.
Than you made a mistake. If you would have hold them for longer, even if the note doesn´t play, it would be much better. Just syncing isn´t everything.

The relief effect is just ugly.

I don´t want to say that this video is completly crap, I just want to say that you might see your next project under more point of views.

3.25/5
