Yeah, I noticed that too. That's the part right after Sosuke's barber shop incedent.
I noticed L when I watched it, but thought it was just a coincidence. Now seeing the pic again I notice Light and Misa. I guess it's not a coincidence, huh?

Then, that means the manga for DN was already out when TSR came out. Hence, the off skin colorations. It is pretty rare for them to do a parody of a manga in an anime when the actual anime hasn't come out yet.

Yeah that is weird. It really explains how they got the colours wrong.

Yeah, they could have been good friends, but since L was leading his crusade against Kira, Light had no choice.

In some ways, Death Note reminds me of the Death Wish movies, with Light acting as a more indirect-killing version of Charles Bronson. Instead of going out of the streets and killing bad guys with a .475 Wilde Magnum (cookie to the person who knows which movie THAT reference came from), he stays at home and write their names down in the Death Note. Light is just doing a supernatural version of vigilantism.

IT would have destroied the whole show with L and Light becoming good friends, well they actually became friends.
didn't L say something about Light being his first real friend ? :twisted:

L's was a one sided friendship. In a "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" kind of way, I guess.

Oh well, L wont be seeing Light in the other world, Light's been using the Death Note which means, he goes to "nothingness" instead of Hell or Heaven.
