How Do I Rip PSP Game Footage Such As Cinemas To My Comp?

Post by TwilightChrono » Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:50 pm

Well, I am wanting to rip footage from my PSP Games to my computer. Such as Cinemas, game-play footage etc. etc. If any one could provide me with the steps on how to do this, like what kind of programs or cables I need, or just all the materials I will need in general, it would be a great help. Thanks for all your help in advance.

this guide will help you set up your psp and pc so that your pc acts as a second monitor. After you set this up, you can google and download a capture program like "HyperCam 2" to record any footage being displayed on your monitor. You should only need a psp, a usb cable, your pc, and it's monitor.

Be warned though. Old computers equipped w/ old hardware might have a lot of trouble using a capture program to record footage at 24 or 30 fps.

This looks really handy, I gotta bookmark this 8-)

As I finished Crisis Core Yesterday I'm tempted to get the footage on my PC, hehe.

I'm gonna check this guide out for sure :P

As far as the Guide is Concerned (Myself being the Creator of said guide, and owner of that site), I have actually just finished doing a Full and Total Update on it :D. Its got a LOT more content covering a lot more subjects.
Also, sayde, if you are the sayde I know of, thank you for sharing my site with people ^_^.

The update in that FAQ has been a long time coming (like 6 months Iv been putting it off...), and Im glad I finally got around to it (spent the last 5 hours working on it). And (seeing people coming from this page to my site), I decided that here will be the first place that I announce the aforementioned update!

Hope its useful!

I had no idea you had an account here. That's a pretty nice surprise. And about your site; no problem. You've been putting a lot of work into it. I think it deserves all the publicity it can get.

^_^ Thanks.

No, see it was more of a surprise to ME! XD
I went to sign up for one... and... It said that my name was already registered... I try to log in... and it turns out I had an account since 2005! (I remember signing up for an AMV site, I just did not know it was this one... I also did not know that your main account and forum account are linked)
