I'm a reletively new AMV creator but have been watching them for a long time now and have been a PreScreener for a couple of AMV contests (Bakuretsucon and most Notably Anime Boston) Therefor, Having listened to the pissing and moaning of the other screeners ,and doing some moaning myself at some of the entries, I have Learned what many of the rookie mistakes are and Have done A reasonable job avoiding them. so much so that we slipped these 3 videos into the anime boston pre screening to see how well they would do If I were actually allowed to compete. (i cannot compete as I am Staff for AB) 1 of the videos was borderline if it was PG13 or not and The coordinator moved to have it disqualified. The other Screeners voted that it sould be kept in. the second video Scored 10's and 9's across the board. (I really dont know how) and when we broke the news to the Screeners that it was a ringer and couldnt compete they asked if we could pretend I Was Someone else and let it in the contest. It was not let in much to the disapointment of the screeners.
The 3rd video Premiered at AB in the non compete STAFF category. It was very sad And Got the reaction from the audience that I was hoping for (Yay! Crying is fun!) The 3rd and sad video is this one

Hope you enjoy
