Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'm gonna get the technical aside first before the content.

Aspect Ratio is wrong. The Animatrix I believe is either 1.85:1 or 2.39:1, instead of the 4:3 display you have in the file.

You can see the effects clearly with the image down below. Notice how the Earth looks more like an elipse rather than a perfect circle?

Your editing style is actually pretty solid when it comes to synchronizing with the song. Some cool visuals are chosen too, and having a good eye for things is a useful tool.
Unfortunately that's all the vid is, is just a montage of action and synch. The vid doesn't show a lot in terms of real content. Quite honestly, I've seen vids like this before.

Nightbreak, try this out. Challenge yourself to make something different and unordinary. Often times the majority will prefer the fresh over the stale. It doesn't have to be epic, it can be small. Go ahead and experiment with different ideas to make your future videos stand out.

2/5 from me.
Although for a first time vid, this was actually not bad from an outsiders point of view. I would say that you have an excellent start and that you'll greatly benefit with progress.

No.
That's a STUPID attitude. If you watch it in VLC you can correct the aspect-ratio simply by right-clicking.

The video itself was pretty solid, you have the idea down right. There was enough of a contrast between how you synched things so as to keep it from getting boring. I think you need to work more on developing a mood, or some sort of progression of story. There seems to have been a slew of Animatrix videos lately, which means that people are getting a little tired of seeing it, it seems a bit repetitive. However, don't let that discourage you. Keep it up.
