AFAIK there's going to be a second series... note sure, though, might just be a rumor.

The Specials (OVA) = Season 1.5/2.0

As far as a sequel is concerned, I do think the manga went a bit further into the storyline.

Is it only me or are the specials even more disturbed than the original series

Meh likes the episode when Pote goes shopping sweets all nights.

But they tell you NOTHING about the strange thing at the last episode from the 1st season...
