Anime Suggestions for "American Boy"

Came across of this latest song over the radio "American Boy" by Estelle featuring Kanye West. Given the song is about a foreigner (UK) girl falling for an American boy (rapper) and about travel around different locations. Love the song and the only anime I could even think that come close is Fatal Fury. Terry/Andy as the "American Boy" with Sulia/Mai Shiranui as the lead singer.

Anyone has other anime suggestions of anime couples that does some travelling?

don't bump in this forum... people will find it highly annoying and it could easily get your thread locked... the entire a-m-v.org forum is very slow moving compared to other sites so give it some time.

Traveling eh? ...they travel a bit in black lagoon. I have no idea what that song sounds like, but black lagoon can fit just about any category. Um ....love hina has traveling ... Wolfs Rain, Soul Taker ...there's lots of anime with traveling. If you want to get really abstract, maybe something like escaflowne or hack.

Black Lagoon? hmmm? I do have a reggae song just about perfect for Black Lagoon, but point taken. Was never into Love Hina after just three or so episodes. Haven't seen Soul Taker and have a hard time remembering Wolf's Rain (although that might have something there). Cowboy Bebop (Spike and Faye) has interstaller travel but could picture the two as Kayne and Estelle respectively outside of Terry/Andy Bogard (american boys) to Sulia/Mai Shiranui (foreigners).
