Oh, I agree...that Smash isn't a fighting game.

I am now off to smash in faces in SFA3.

UPDATE: I got my face smashed in instead, but it doesn't really count since the other guy was Japanese and I was playing half a character.

You have to add them to your friend roster, and it will say "Waiting for authentication" or something like that. Once they add you as well, it will show their online/offline status and once you play games, your connect quality with them.

Where's the door in The Ruins to go fight Wolf? Didn't see a new door or anything like that, and after, er, failing to beat him in Boss mode, I don't really want to go through 10 battles just to try to fight him again.
