no estrogen check for me, I am very male, and very large (ask anybody who has met me)

my favorite food is a... complex question

my favorite desert, something simple and direct
Baked Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake... served warm fresh from the oven
you won't find this at the cheesecake factory, but it is a treat my mother bakes during Christmas (very German recipe). I find that American cheesecake tends to be too sweet, where the baked German ones are sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The baked apples mix with the cinnamon and drizzle down into the cheesecake.

My favorite meal
Maul-taschen (mouth bags)
there is no other way to explain it other than German ravioli. I like who the meat is not pre cooked, and shrinks while it is boiled, leaving the juices imbeded into the noodle casing.
Dampfnoodle is a close second, but it has to be served with apple sauce.

I can't think of any other food that really hits me like those two. A good German cheesecake, and a good German home cooked meal. Makes you warm and content.
Lead me not to temptation, for I have deadlines

Zeppoles
Rice pie

Damn... now I'm hungry..
Now, don't feel bad. It's not you, it's me. I Don't Like You. -.-

My family has a tradition... we get together once a year for Piggly. Piggly is sausage, potatoes, onions, and probably some other stuff put into a pig stomach. The stomach is then stitched up and put into the oven. Man is it tasty! I look forward to it every year.

Also...
The chicken soup at Carrabba's (the one nearest you)
The fish and chips at Fiddler's Hearth (South Bend, IN)
Creme Brulee
I'm not rich... I just plan on dying before I retire.

There is a local mexican restaurant called La Hacienda, and I enjoy their cheese quesadillas and pretty much all their food. My favorite homemade dish is a dessert called Chocolate Eclair Cake, it has alternating layers of vanilla pudding, graham crackers and melted chocolate, after it sits in the fridge for a few days its very good :D .

Quesadillas. Steak quesadillas. With steaming hot spicy rice and beans.

*drools*

Put one of those in front of me, and I look like Fuko. :O
