anyone heard of Kei-kon??

Kei-kon apparently they had an amv contest over Feb 22-24 2008. well someone commented on my amv Life of a Dog - Pt. 2 on you-tube that it won best general or something like that. well i've never even heard of this con much less entered it.

anyone hear or know anything about this convention/contest?

Someone had the same thing happen in this thread. Apparently it was a "Lets pull vids off the internet and vote on crowd favorites" type thing.

maybe they couldn't get any real entries? or they just thought they would do their con that way?

i donno i think it would be cooler if they had people enter themselves... hopefully people who would show up O: (its more fun to be there to see your vid xD lol)

Some people told me they saw my Attack of the Otaku vid there, but i didnt submit it, so i emailed the contest coordinator and they told me it was played due to "overwhelming demand" by the staff o_O

apparently it won first place and best in show O_o

Get used to it, you're one of the popular peeps now, something some of us will never have to worry about.
