It's an awesome site, but I saw this coming since it first started.

I mean come on...no file size or quality specifics? I'm surprised it stuck around the whole two years or so it has.

And I guarantee you the very morons who uploaded entire DVD ripped movies will be the ones who BAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW the loudest.

Oh well.

I think what got them was mostly the advertised ability to download the file... sure you can download from the tube, but you have to jump through hoops to find the file/do it.

Yep, I've been on sites that have video content that takes ioncredible skill to figure out how to capture the video. I consider myself pretty clever, but I DO find occasions where I am stumped, so it CAN be done.

Making it clear it can be downloaded, and not making it any effort, that is basically peer to peer as I see it. Peer to peer is never going to work in the open for long.
