Uploading Issues with server errors

I've downloaded the programs needed to upload my AMV, but everytime i put in the info given to me on the upload page, i fail to connect to server. It's happened now multiple times over two days, and i don't understand. I've got both firezilla and Ipswitch WS_FTP, and both of them can't connect to the server. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it!
And it's not just typing the stuff in wrong, because i've triple checked and even copied and pasted into the right boxes!
Help! What am i doing wrong!?!

be sure to turn any firewalls you have to low or off (preferably off)

you could also try enabling passive mode (if you haven't already)
it's usually somewhere in the options/preferences. (edit-settings-connection-firewall settings in my old version of filezilla)

It's been on passive the entire time, but i tried again and it says "connection timed out and could not connect to server".

did you turn off firewalls? (even if you don't think you have one, you still have the windows firewall)

what's the address you're using? (don't post the password you were given)

Yes, my firewall was off while i tried this, cause i read that in the other forums.
the address i was given was Kero.AnimeMusicVideos.org
