Epic vs. Animation

Post by Hiro The Dragon King » Wed Feb 20, 2008 8:31 am

I'm looking for an anime that has epic battles and beautiful animation...other than Naruto. Like Digimon's animation. That's the kind of anime I like to edit. Anyone know of any good ones?

Hmm.... maybe you can go check Karas and see... or the movie named Princess Mononoke. Both Karas and Pricess Mononoke have quite nice animations....

Miyazaki movies aren't really one for the epically long fight scenes. While Princess Mononoke has some longer ones...it's just not what I'm looking for. I really didn't like the animation style for Karas...at all.

For me epic battles and beautiful animation contradict each other. Everything I can think of with epic battles has not-so-fantastic animation, and everything with beautiful animation has no epic battles, or battles not nearly good enough to be called "epic."
Sorry. :(

Seirei no Moribito/Guardian of the Sacred Spirit for nice camera movements during action scenes. For epic mecha I suggest Gurren Lagaan, Gundam 00 is getting there too.
