I was just wondering if an editpost button could be added to just the screencaps section.
I have recently been posting alot there, and I had to triple post one time because there was no edit button. But if there was one, I could just go back over and edit out all accidental double images, ect. from my posts.
I'm not asking for an edit button to the whole site, just the caps section.
I've heard people talk about(in other edit button request threads) how flamers would go back and edit out any incriminating comments an such.
But an edit button in the caps section could help to cut down on double posts, and it
would allow them to fix broken links without the help of a mod. It would also allow people to go back and swap image links that are from photo bucket, with image links from Image shack. Xrex mentioned to me in the naruto thread that allot of caps-threads died because the links from Photo bucket were either removed, deleted, or otherwise compromised. So I was going to replace all the images there with image-shack links, so that the images would not be deleted(or otherwise compromised)
not to mention how people would be held more accountable for what they post. Anyone who accidentally posts hentai, or other pics that cross the line, the image can be deleted by the user, instead of a mod having to scan the posts constantly.
But to do that we need an edit button.
So, I hope I've given enough reason for needing one in that particular part of the site, and I hope to hear some replies soon!

honestly, I wouldn't like people to go back and delete great images.
For me, I just make sure things look right in a post by pressing the preview button. If everything seems to be showing up right, you'll have no prob.
Just remember 5 images total can be shown thumbnail or not and if you want to post any more images in a post you'll have them to just be links to the image
To make a non clickable image(meaning just an image under 800x800 and 200kb that's not a thumbnail), make sure to highlight the link and then click the img button
You seem to have the thumbnails provided by imageshack down.
So I don't think you'll have problem if you make sure to check your post first before submitting it. I do it all the time.

eh, its not problem. I didn't expect to get very many replies.
but the reason I wanted and edit button, is because of all the Photobucket links.
With an edit button I could replace all of those photobucket, with imageshack.
That way I would risk losing the images by mistake.
