What are the most violent Animes?

Guess we should be a bit more serious here.

Well, overall I don't like bloody animes pretty much.
the most obscure things I've seen were in Elfen Lied and Black Lagoon.
Althought Pet Shop of Horrors wasn't bad too

Hmm maybe we need to better define violent then.

Because I've seen Elfen Lied, and I can't picture why you would so readily dismiss Claymore. Generally speaking, butchering demons that go around eating people is not overly non violent

I rented the sequal once and didn't really like it.

The ending song was pretty nice though.
