I kind of figured that Ender's Game was more about the horrors of destroying childhood by imposing adult responsibilities at an early age. I'm not sure though, since I haven't read the book since I was fourteen or so.

I got that from Lord of the Flies as well. Ender's game was really annoying to me though. I read it this past summer as a book that was on my list of books to read for AP English.
