That is why Ender's Game is significant.
Too bad Lord of the Flies did that far earlier...

I kind of figured that Ender's Game was more about the horrors of destroying childhood by imposing adult responsibilities at an early age. I'm not sure though, since I haven't read the book since I was fourteen or so.

On the other hand, I'm still reading The Princess Bride over and over, and I still pick up new things about it every time.

Meh too. :? I got that from Lord of the Flies as well.

Ender's game was really annoying to me though. I read it this past summer as a book that was on my list of books to read for AP English.

I blame my Romanticism fetish. O_O

I strongly suspect if there was a study between books read and the number of dates college kids have ever gone on then Ender's Game would be around the zero or one point.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

How much do you want to bet that your options in the battle room will be limited so much that none of Ender's tactics from the book would work?
