This song really doesnt fit Animatrix at all. The verses were okay, shaking could have been alot smoother. Choruses and generally loud parts of the video were weak as hell. So in general, this was a random action video with weak action sync. Not good.

I actually Think the Song was a very Good matchup with Animatrix. I liked the Concept this Video was following, listening to the Lyrics and watching the Video together actually made sense. I usually sit there in front of animatrix Videos and don't even know what the heck is going on, but I could actually follow and understand this Video here.

I think it is about how all these different Characters are getting prosecuted and try to find their own Freedom to break out of the Struggle and Slavery they are in. I like the way this Video plays with the Lyrics and let different characters represent different Lines of the song.

"<i>I've come to bring you hell</i>" - Those who Give the Characters in the Video a hard time

"<i>I won't back down I will not bow</i>" - Seing how The Characters try to escape and fight for their freedom

"<i>I can't forget Things you did</i>" - quite simple, The Characters wont ever forget what their Tormentors did

etc, etc...

Lots of stuff like that in the Video, so to me this was anything but a random Video.

On another Note, I really enjoyed the way this Video was edited, really loved the sweet way of synching. On the one Hand you synched the important beats while on the other hand It had an extremly smooth flow, nothing that got me interupted. Damn sweet way of synching the Vocals too.

Overall this Video gets a big  from me, again I say: Great job.

I bet he told you to post that didn't he?

Anyway, I dug it.. All cept for the shaking part. The story was kind of weak imo but still, the parts where you just let the animation itself flow and didn't do too much camera movement was the part i thought was the best. Showed some good flow.

Ha. Here's a nice third party source of review. ^_^

I think that the song and the video synched together quite well. There are few Animatrix videos that I like, and this is one of them.

Sure, it's by no means perfect, and I think that tighter syncs here and there or maybe something of a "kick" factor is needed. Maybeh something along the lines of a snazzy digital effect?

I agree with that, maybe not some special effect for that "kick" factor, but maybe more intensity. I felt the AMV had the same mood and never kinda went up to more exciting IMO. But I still enjoyed watching it, I think the song was a good choice for Animatrix and I liked the editing overall.
Nice job
