New person question

Post by Otaku_Madness » Sat Jan 19, 2008 10:21 pm

Ok Ididn't read all of the post but I did read the first page with the noob terms and spywar struff and what nots. But I have a general question and that is are weallowed to post up videos that have the infamous "Divx" watermark logo on them, fun-subs? Also i haven't had the time yet to check out videos at all but figured I'd find out whether or not those items are allowed on here. Thanx

Short answer: Yes.

Slightly longer answer: Yes but we'll make fun of you for it.

Even more slightly longer answer: Technically if the divx logo is in your source then you're using downloaded source and it's a no-no. Realistically, no one cares that you used downloaded footage. We do however care that downloaded footage usually looks like shit and will insult you because of that.

Unless he encoded using DivX and didn't tell it not to include the watermark. Or however that works.

Reading comprehension - it's not just for your school book report.

Although I suppose proper spelling and grammar in the original post would have helped but I'm the last person to bitch about that.

Cool thank you guys so much for your help and also for catching that horrible mis-spelling. Now that I think about it I do not know how the hell I did that "u" instead and "a" meh whatever my question got answer, my balls got busted everyone goes home happy. I don't have any of my AMV's on my current computer, my old comp crashed like 4-5 months ago and haven't transferred them over to the new one, but you can catch my AMV's on youtube. Most easiest way to find channel is look up the video "Aknot, What?!". But I am currently working on one now and should have it pumped out once I get the last 1:03 down.
